Prof. Werck’s research interest is to reveal new functions of CYP450 enzymes and the evolutionary mechanism that led to their functional diversification, mainly focuses on enzymes in the biosynthesis of biopolymers and of aromatic compounds, on related signaling and impact on floral development and chemical ecology.
